The Outstanding Achievement Award recognises a firm, team or individual involved in work that has gone above and beyond the norm. This award has been developed to recognise individuals, groups or teams that are the ambassadors for our profession and exemplify the contribution that our industry makes to our society, environment and quality of life. The consultancy and engineering industry is fortunate to benefit from young talented professionals. ACE and NCE created this award to recognise this talent and reward the one that stands out from the crowd. This year, any academically qualified consultant or engineer aged 35 or under by 1 March 2012 is eligible for entry. The process is by self-nomination. We seek entries from those who are committed to their career and have views about the role of consultants and engineers in the future. In their work they will have completed and contributed to a range of projects, taking part in other industry initiatives and address challenges, all of which make them stand out from the rest.
